Ceci est la couleur de mes rêves

I’ve always wanted to reference Miró’s painting, Ceci est la couleur de mes rêves. News of our inclusion in in HOW Color In Design 2011 gives me a perfect opportunity.

Color is emotional, intuitive, complicated, informative, and architectural – all at the same time. When we worked with Herman Miller to design a retail packaging program for their introduction into Costco stores, color provided an opportunity for meaningful variation. Each of the four Herman Miller chairs sold through Costco has it’s own personality, along with a corresponding color used on the box and the materials inside: green, blue, purple, and yellow.
